as i have already mentioned, the tyndalls park road flat will/is so much more awesome than the canons way place.
bigger overall, better furniture, bigger appliances, closer to grocery stores (plural, as in having several shopping options to choose from) & hopefully soon, our own car. on the 3rd-really-4th floor, providing a perfect zombie lookout, should things turn ugly, zombiewise that is, here in bristol.
we are in clifton, near the clifton downs. we are also very very close to bristol university. the 'hood is overrun with students during the morning, lunch time & late afternoon. the clifton area is much, much tonier and so less, less country than i had been lead to believe.
for example, the cars in the parking area of tyndalls park road are as follows:
2 mercedes (1 convertible, 1 crossover)
2 porsches (1 roadster, one 911 - both belonging to families in the building. or at least a divorced, weekends-only dad)
3 BMWs (a 5 series, a 3 series & an M4)
2 mini coopers
2 volkswagens
1 audi station wagon
1 jaguar (pronounced JAG-U-ARE)
1 nissan note (this would be the strasser's "ride")
our nissan note, despite it's status as being pretty damn near brand-new, is the crappiest car in the parklands parking area. plus it has a thrifty car rental sticker screaming from the back window.
